If you want a spell that allows you to speak while the veil is up, you will probably have to raise the target to part, and consider raising the duration to sun. Concentrating on each wound in turn, the healer moves her hands over the target’s body. The wounds appear to close and heal one by one, until the body is once again whole.<br />Taught by the centaur Chiron, Aesculapius was said to be able to restore the dead to life through the use of medicinal plants. Canneta (rumoured to be a priestess in an Aesculapius cult) describes her continued research to try and uncover that secret, but thus far this has been the closest she has been able to achieve. R: Touch D: Sun T: Individual<br />This spell creates a long sword out of the air, its handle wrapped in fine leather cord, the caster's Sigil typically appearing in the pommel or along the blade in some fashion. An Int+Finesse roll of 12+ must be made (9 difficulty for an Average task for a Mundane craftsman, +3 for magic). If the Finesse roll is lower than 12 the sword performs poorly, reducing its damage by 2. The target’s body looses all rigid consistency, as if their bones and cartilage were made of noodles. Their body becomes utterly flaxen and pliable, and they flop down on the ground like a rag doll. They are reduced to wriggling around like a squid out of water, and lack the leverage to lift or move anything. This actually causes the target no harm or pain. They become more resilient to being crushed or smashed, but they are more susceptible to being severed.
